## Before you open an issue

* Check the [FAQ](/resources/faq).
* Turn on diagnostics. [SDK](/sdks/python-sdk/diagnostics) or [middleware](/sdks/middleware/operator-playbook). The logs usually point at the cause.
* Note the `error_code` if you got one. See [error codes](/guides/platform-operator/error-codes).
